In honor of no shave November I decided to sport a beard. I also convinced all of my roommates to grow some facial hair. I am the only one of my roommates that can actually grow any facial hair that is visible with the naked eye.

Happy birthday to me
Dear fellow blog readers today I am 27 years old. Yesterday I went 4-wheeling in Grace Idaho up in the mountains with my roommates. The 4-wheeling trail was the most insane, and crazy path I have ever ridden. At the top of the mountain there was a beautiful view of Soda springs and Grace Idaho. Then on the way home we went caving and walked through an old lava flow cave in Grace Idaho. The trip was really fun and very exhausting.

I bought a Violin
I bought a violin a few weeks ago online and it is pretty pimp. I am working on writing my first violin and guitar duet song. My song has lots of potential to be pretty awesome. I need to practice to become reacquainted with my violin since it has been since 2002 since I have played a violin.
Sincerely, Rees

The Rocket Summer live at Utah state
I just saw the rocket summer live at utah state and they were awesome! The lead singer was playing guitar while crowd surfing. They sounded just like the goo goo dolls, and something corporate. I was way impressed with the concert.

St. George Utah
Well I finished my st. george internship. Now I have to write a paper about the whole experience for school and put together a binder about the internship. Then I am heading back to Idaho Falls for a few weeks then back to school at USU in Logan. I have enjoyed living in St. George and I will miss the warm weather. I could see myself returning to St. George and working and or retiring there. St. George is in the desert but it has its own special kind of beauty and unique scenery. Also I am getting sick of the long winters in Idaho and northern Utah. I would prefer dealing with two months of extreme heat in St. George over 7 months of bitter cold winter. Well I am headed back to school soon and I have two more semesters left of my masters program. Then I will be applying for jobs and considering getting a PHD.

Vegas baby
Some friends in my ward and I went to Vegas for the day. We walked up and down the "strip"and saw as many sights as we could. We ate dinner at the hard rock cafe and their food and service was mediocre at best. We walked through the Bellagio, MGM, Caesars palace, the M&M store which had four levels, planet hollywood, hardrock cafe, mini Paris, mini New York and saw many other sights. Since we were only there for a day we walked fast and took pics on the run. It was my first time to Vegas so I tried to see as many sights as possible.
At one part of the trip we were walking past these people that were handing out dirty cards. When suddenly my friend Cody busted out a mormon pass along card and handed it to one of the kids who was trying to hand him a card. The kid took the card and said thanks and went back to work. I was laughing because my friend Cody is always trying to be a missionary even to people who are shady.
Las Vegas was cool to see but I dont have much of a desire to go back. I think it is cool to see once. Although I wouldn't mind returning to go swimming at Mandalee bay or ride a roller coaster or go see a concert. All in all I am glad I made the trip. I can't think of any one place in particular to recommend but I did like the bellagio water fountain show. I got a video recording but I am having difficulty uploading it to my blog.
peace sincerely, Rees

Zion's national park in southern Utah
I visited Zion's national park in Utah with my roommate and some of his friends. We hiked angel's landing a 2.5 mile crazy hike. The hike was very steep and the last .5 mile you had to pull yourself up using a chain. There was one part where there was a narrow ledge you had to cross that had about a thousand foot drop on both sides. The hike had a beautiful view at the top of the summit. I will be posting pictures soon.

Arches National Park in Utah
I was tired so I decided to take a nap. Next I was doing my superman pose. The last pic is a window at Arches National Park. We hiked up to that window and there was a beautiful view on the other side of the window.

Another semester of school has begun. I am still teaching first aid at USU. I am currently looking for an internship for the summer. Which means I will be moving out of Logan to who knows where in Utah. Life is crazy and always full of surprises. I am currently taking a nutrition class and a program evaluation class and an exercise fitness prescription class this semester.
For spring break my room mates and I are talking about road tripping to mexico to a beach in Penasco Rocky Point. We will see if that goes down. I have always wanted to do a crazy road trip to a beach.
Well that is currently all that is worth writing down...
